Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Eagle track in real time?
Yes. When combined with the Advanced Data Plan, the Eagle will track every 30 seconds when it is moving, providing real time tracking including speed.
How is the Eagle powered?
The Eagle plugs into the OBDII port of the vehicle which is how it is powered.
Will the Eagle drain my vehicle battery?
No. The Eagle uses very little power when it is stationary and also tracks its location less frequently when it is stationary, ensuring that the vehicle battery is not drained.
Can I use the Eagle on more than one vehicle?
You sure can. Moving the Eagle from one vehicle to another is straightforward and quick. Simply unplug the Eagle, then locate the OBDII port in the new vehicle and plug the Eagle in.
What is an OBDII port?
Every truck or car on the road produced after 1996 is lawfully mandated to have an OBDII port. It is usually located beneath the dashboard on the driver's side.
Is the Eagle waterproof?
No. The Eagle is not waterproof and therefore must be located somewhere where it is protected from the elements.

Accessories
OBDII Power Cable (Female)
The two-wire OBDII power cable is used to connect the Eagle to a 10-30V DC power supply. The length of the cable is 23.5 cm (+- 0.5 cm).
OBDII Extension Cable
The OBDII extension cable is used when the OBDII port is in a hard to reach place and when vehicle parts are interfering with GPS signal. Cable length is 50 cm.
