The Buddy has a waterproof rating of IP68.
How do you recharge the Buddy?
You recharge the Buddy using the supplied USB cable which plugs into any USB port.
How long will the Buddy last on a full charge?
This all depends on what tracking setting it is set to.
Tracking every 1 hour it will last up to 60 days before needing to be recharged.
Tracking every 6 hours it will last up to 200 days before needing to be recharged.
Tracking every 12 hours it will last up to 300 days before needing to be recharged.
Tracking every 24 hours it will last up to 365 days before needing to be recharged.
Can I use the Buddy to track a vehicle?
The Buddy is primarily designed to track non-powered assets because it does not track in real time. However, you are able to use the Buddy to track a vehicle. If you are after real time tracking of your vehicle, then we recommend you check out the Defender and the Eagle.
